Dear Year 6, Blackwood School,

Everyone here at Walsall North Foodbank would like to thank every single one of you very much for the things that you have collected and donated to us recently.  

We understand that you have been hearing all about Guru Nanak’s 550^th birthday and looking at different ways that you can help people. By donating food to this Foodbank, you have helped local people who otherwise would not be able to feed themselves or their families.

 In the last year, we have fed 1504 people, and 629 of these were children.

On behalf of the foodbank leaders and our team of volunteers, we would like to thank you again for helping to support Walsall North Foodbank. Without the kindness and generosity of people like you, we would not be able to continue to help hungry people in this way.  

Many thanks and wishing you a lot of fun and happiness over Christmas time.
