Summer Term 1 RE. Big questions for Christians and Hindus.

Week 1 - Life as a journey.    Life is often compared to being a journey. Look at the power point below and see if you can make your own metaphor for life's journey.

Email your work to the Year Four email address. I would love to see what you've done!

Week 2 - Reincarnation ideas.

NB- This topic may open up some questions about life's journey that may be uncomfortable to talk about or deal with. At school, we approach this topic with great sensitivity. If you do not feel that you are happy to tackle this at home then an additional snakes and ladders activity to label including some of life's ups (EG. Getting a pen pass) and downs (failing a driving test) is available.

Read the power point, look at the video and draw your own diagram to show Hindu reincarnation.

This week's work is all about important milestones in your life. I would like you to look at the Jewish religion and find out what young people do when they become teenagers.

Work for the week beginning 11th May

I hope you have enjoyed the sunshine and the V.E. Day celebrations. It's also the holy month of Ramadan when Muslim people fast (don't eat or drink) during the day, spend more time praying and thinking about how to help other people.
