  • Practise reading all of set 1, 2 and 3 RWI sounds using the PowerPoints (see below) Set 1 sounds, Set 2 sounds, Set 3 sounds. Make a note of any sounds that your child is not confident with and if you would like further support, please contact me.
  • Practise reading as many Polysyllabic Words as you can (see below).
  • Complete the Compound Words Spelling Activity (see below).
  • Practise this week's spellings (see below).

  • Read the story Haircuts with your child (see below).
  • Ask the following questions about the story with your child.

1. Which is the silliest hair?

2. Which is the smartest hair?

3. Which is the wildest hair?

4. Which is the fanciest hair?

5. Which hairstyles would you not like to have?

6. Which hairstyles would you like to have?

  • Practise this week's spellings (see below).

 

Wednesday 20th May 2020

  • Correct the sentence below.
