We have three Parents’ Evenings during the academic year. The first consultation evenings are held early in the first term when parents and the child’s new class teacher can share information and initial thoughts about achievement and progress. A more detailed consultation is held in the second term following our mid-year assessments where parents have the opportunity to review their child’s work prior to a detailed discussion with the child’s teacher. We email parents when parents evenings have been arranged for their child's year group with details of booking arrangements.
We hold regular events throughout the year that parents are invited to and parents are emailed when year-group specific events are organised. Due to popularity and capacity many of our events need to be booked in advance. We have a dedicated online booking system at https://blackwood.parentseveningsystem.co.uk that we use for both parents evening and bookable events.
