In Year 4, children will partake in the Multiplication Times Table Check. Additionally, being fluent in multiples knowledge will aid your child in many future areas of mathematics! 

 

Therefore, please ensure you and your child make every effort to practise and learn their times tables at home to support the work they do in school. 

 

The image below shows the times tables children must learn. If children understand commutativity (knowing that multiplication can be completed in reverse order and result in the same answer) then these are the major times tables they need to learn alongside 11s and 12s.
