Homework

 

Please note: Homework will be set on a Friday and will be due back the following Thursday. 

 

Homework will be uploaded to Google Classroom on a Friday at 3:45 and children will be provided with a homework book to record their tasks in.  Most weeks, the children will be given a reading or grammar related task, spellings to practise and write sentences about as well as a piece of maths homework.

Please encourage your child to speak to a member of the Year 5 team if they experience any problems with their homework before the Thursday when their homework is due in.  We will always be on hand to assist but feel it is important for the children to take the responsibility for dealing with any problems to help develop their independent skills as they move into Upper Key Stage Two.
