Hello parents/ carers,

Welcome to the second half of the Summer Term. As school is open to more pupils, the Year 2 staff are now in school all week.  

This section of the website will signpost you to work you can complete with your child/children each week. Lessons and activities have been updated on the websites you have usernames and log-ins for (Developing Experts, Charanga and TTRockstars) and there are links to other websites such as Oak National Academy and BBC Bitesize for daily maths and literacy lessons. Please note, we have not specified which lessons you should do for these. Some parents may be continuing to work through the work we uploaded for Summer 1 and those parents who will be using Oak National Academy may want to involve their child in choosing which week of learning they'd like to do, as there is a lot of content available. We would recommend that when you choose a weekly topic, you work through each of the lessons progressively rather than dipping into one or two lessons and then moving to another topic. There is also work for Spanish from Señora Shorrock, as well as work for RE from Mrs Leadley. If you require support navigating the Oak National Academy website, or have a query, the staff will continue to respond to emails you send to the Year 2 email address as soon as possible.
