Welcome to Year 3!

Welcome to the Year 3 page! Here you will find the resources and information to help you with life in Year 3. Your teachers in Year3 are Mr Nicholls, Mrs Bradbury, Mrs Lemon and Mrs Haycox and  our teaching assistant is the wonderful Mrs Whiston . 

 Please don't forget to wash and sanitise your hands as you come into school.  At the end of the school day, you will be dismissed from the KS2 playground, just in front of the Year 4 classrooms.

OAK

Start 8:30 am - Finish 3:00 pm

MAPLE

 Start 8:45 am - Finish 3:15 pm

BEECH

Start 9:00 am - Finish 3:30 pm

Useful information

Thursday is our day for PE so please send your child into school wearing their full outdoor kit.  The children will stay in this throughout the day for our session in the afternoon.  Please can we ask that long hair is tied back and that earrings are removed before coming to school unless your child is able to remove them for themselves. 

Please ensure that any uniform, kit or personal items such as lunch boxes and water bottles are clearly labelled.

Homework is now set every Friday in a blue book. Please keep this safe and return your homework the following Friday, where it will be marked in class. Reading books should be returned no later than Thursday to allow time for them to be changed. If you need a replacement copy of your spellings, please let your teacher know as soon as possible.
