Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school.
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. For over 70 years, she has dedicated her life to service for her country and the Commonwealth, and been a figurehead of national unity and stability at a time of enormous change.
As we learned whilst celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, she has led at all times with a quiet determination.
While being Monarch she was also a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As HRH Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh was to her, she has been our nation’s strength and stay.
We join the Royal Family and the nation in their grief and offer the Royal Family our heartfelt condolences.
From all of the Blackwood School Community.

Please watch the return to school video that Mr Kirby and Miss Breakwell have kindly made which shows you the changes we've made to school to keep the staff and children safe. You can access the video by clicking on the link below or by going to the 'about us page' and then into the 'return to school video page'. It's a useful way to prepare the children for school in advance of their return.
