Miss Ranjan, Mrs Rigby, Miss Farrell, Mrs Bhathal, Mrs Broomes and Miss Taylor welcome you to Year 1! Here you will find information on our ongoing curriculum foci as well as other updates on news and events of importance. We also have a digital copy of our newsletter which contains information about this term's learning as well as details about homework and P.E. In Year 1, we begin to learn and understand our 5 school values (L - Learn, E - Excellence, A - Acceptance, R - Respect and N - Nurture). Through year group discussions and help from 'Treasure Champs', our children will learn to apply these values to their everyday lives.
Summer Homework
As part of our transition art work, we are focusing on the artist, Frida Kahlo. During the summer please have a go at finding out more about her and creating your own artwork similar to hers. Please check the homework folder for other ideas.
