  • Gymnastics competition

    Wed 14 Feb 2018 E Taylor
Miss Collins accompanied our fantastic gymnasts to the West Midlands Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition held in Stoke on Trent on Saturday 27th January. All 4 teams performed amazingly. The competition was tough, the children were competing against over 30 other schools. Our mixed team won Bronze award, and our 3 girls under 11 teams finished above half way in their groups. Well done to all competitors and a massive thank you to Miss Collins for giving up her time on a Saturday.

  • It all adds up for our Y4 Mathematicians!

Fri 15 Sep 2017 Ms Bains

On Friday our Y4 Mathematicians were invited to take part in the KES Maths Challenge. The competition was stiff but with a few clever calculations the team were able to eliminate multiple schools. They used every possible angle to gain an advantage and were in fantastic shape by the end of both rounds.

The team came away with silver medals and exponential smiles!

  • Easter Bonnets Egg-stravaganza

Fri 07 Apr 2017 Ms Bains

Today, KS1 put on the most egg-squisite Easter Bonnet parade with proceedings starting promptly without de'lay'. The standard was again egg-stremely high with some parents (we suspect smiley) poaching a few Pinterest ideas.

One egg-spert judge was quoted as saying "Omelettin' any copy-cat Pinterest ideas slide this year, you can get your inspiration from anywhere these days". The children modelled their bonnets egg-ceptionally well with the KS2 audience having a smashing time.

There was plenty of class competitiveness with a number of teachers overheard saying "If you can't beat them...."

Easter bonnets will be parading on the KS1 playground from 3pm (Reception), 3.10pm (Y1), 3.10pm (Y2) where parents can get inspiration as no doubt they will be hatching plans for next years bonnets!

Happy Fry-day to you all and a very happy Easter break.

Remember school is oeuf until the 24th April.

    See you all then.
