Dear Parents,
We have created this webpage to help you support your child with their learning in RWI. It includes several videos which provide examples of how to pronounce the pure sounds to your child alongside useful videos to support your own understanding of the RWI scheme within school.
We group the children according to their sound and blending knowledge alongside their writing ability so we can pitch the teaching at the correct level for your child. This will help us ensure there are no gaps in their learning. These groups are very fluid and children can move between them based on their areas to develop.
Please watch the videos below when supporting your child at home and also don't hesitate to ask your class or RWI teacher for any further support.
