  • Engineering trip to Crabtrees Factory in Manchester

    Thu 21 Nov 2019

A big thank you to Darren Garbett from Crabtree's who kindly gave the opportunity to 8 Blackwood children to visit the Crabtree factory in Manchester. They met the design team in the offices and learnt the process from concept through to design and manufacture. They had a tour of the factory learning about just in time production.  They watched laboratory testing of electrical components exploding!

The children also took part in a Lord Sugar apprentice style task.

We can't thank Crabtree's enough for this amazing opportunity they have given these children. It is an experience they will never forget.

Please take a look at our photo's from today's visit.
