Homework
We encourage the children to work independently or with someone from home to complete or create a piece of homework to be proud of.
The children may choose how they would like to present their work, unless a template is provided. This gives them the opportunity to be as creative as they would like.
February half term homework 2020
After the half term holiday, Year 1 children will begin to learn about Geography.
To help them understand what Geography is, we will be learning about where we live.
Your task with the children will be to take a walk around your local area and collect anything that represents or reflects the locality, the people, the buildings, the landmarks, the buildings, etc.
This could be put onto a poster or made into a scrapbook titled "Where I live".
We look forward to seeing what the children have produced and learning more about the local area where they live.
Please return this completed piece of homework on the first day of school on Monday 24th February 2020.
